We built MyFridgeDinner to fix that, one dinner at a time. US households waste an average of $1,500 of food per year. UK households waste approximately £730. Every recipe in our generator is designed to use what you actually have, not what you wish you had.
Built By Home Cooks
We are not professional chefs or food scientists. We are everyday home cooks who got tired of standing in front of an open fridge and ordering takeout because we did not know what to make. Every recipe in our database has been tested in a real kitchen by someone without a prep team, a Michelin star, or a full pantry of specialty ingredients.
How the Generator Works
Our routing engine is strictly combinational — if you select pasta and vegetables, it will only ever show you pasta and vegetable recipes. No surprise proteins you did not select. No assumptions about your pantry. A precise match built from your exact selection, with 7 distinct alternatives per combination cycling on every press of the button.
196 Unique Recipes
The database contains 196 completely distinct recipes across 28 ingredient combination categories — 7 per category. Recipes cover Italian, Asian, French, British, American, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisines, ranging from quick 15-minute weeknight dinners to more involved weekend projects. Every recipe has been specifically designed for the combination it serves.

MyFridgeDinner is built mobile-first, designed to be used standing in the kitchen on your phone. The ingredient grid auto-adapts from 2 columns on small phones to 4 on desktop, with touch-friendly targets on every interactive element. No app install required — it runs entirely in your browser on any iOS, Android, or desktop device.
Privacy by Default
We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data. No accounts. No tracking cookies. No behavioural profiling. Your ingredient selections are processed entirely in your browser's JavaScript engine and never transmitted to us or any third party. The tool is architecturally designed to be zero-data from the ground up.
